Yarra Valley Balloon Flight : You turn up at the meeting point at 4:20 am. In this case, the meeting point is Ferguson's Winery. There, you're greeted by hot coffee, the balloon crews and a number of bleary-eyed fellow travellers. Then you're off, in search of a suitable take-off site. You help a little to set the balloon up. You pile in and then you're off. The flight, apart from the occasional roar of the burners, is breathtakingly beautiful and very peaceful. You can only hope that you're flight is prolonged because a suitable landing site is hard to find . . . Once it's all over, you share a champagne breakfast (along with the traditional champagne blessing) with your fellow aeronauts. The breakfast at Ferguson's and you probably eat more than is good for you. Well, you don't do this every week. Your body can take occasional transgression.
