Suzhou: Another day, another day trip. Suzhou is famous for its gardens, its silk industry and its canals. We saw a little of all these things on this day. This is a scene from the 'Master of the Nets' garden. It is considered by the Chinese to be a masterpiece, perfect in scale and detail. It is not as famous, nor is it as large as the more famous 'Humble Administrator's Garden', but, I think, it is more beautiful and deserving of more time than we were able to give it on this day.

We stayed a few days in Shanghai. Not from choice, really. Getting sick meant that we had to stay a little longer, but there is plenty to do and see around Shanghai, so it was an interesting place to be detained.
